The managed cloud is EU-hosted, sovereign by default and live in minutes; at volume, a flat Edge licence beats a percentage.

Cost comparison

Copilot seats or usage you actually consume?

Compare a fixed GitHub Copilot organization plan with Sluis pay-as-you-go routing.

Copilot base per month$190.00
Sluis estimate per month€55.00
Estimated annual savings$1554.00

Sluis model-spend break-even: €157.02

What the Sluis fee adds

  • No per-seat license
  • Choose supported models and providers
  • Residency and provider-policy enforcement
  • PII pseudonymization before model egress
  • Tamper-evident audit trail and spend controls

Cost-envelope comparison, not feature parity. Copilot includes IDE completions; Sluis is an AI gateway and API. Copilot AI-credit overages and tax are excluded. Dollar differences use the exchange rate entered above. GitHub organization plan prices.

The fee isn't for tokens. It's for the lock.

You pay the provider for compute; the 10% buys the lock: detectors, failover, sealed ledger, audit-ready proof.

Included

Policy routing

Data classes map to allowed regions and owners, with failover or a hard block.

Included

The sealed ledger

Every call is hash-chained to the last; alter a field and the chain breaks.

Included

Detection and pseudonymization

60+ detectors catch PII and secrets, then mask, block or reversibly pseudonymize: «EMAIL_1».

What a bill actually looks like.

No line item you can't trace: the provider's list price, our flat 10%, and the seal that proves where it ran. Every passage in the lockkeeper's ledger. Numbers are illustrative.

The honest answers.

How is the 10% calculated?

A flat 10% on your provider's published list price, priced live per request. Custom OpenAI-compatible providers: a flat €0.50 per 1M tokens instead.

How do I activate my account?

Sign up, then activate a plan in the console with a credit card or SEPA Direct Debit. There's no subscription fee: you pay for the tokens you use, list price + 10%, and you can cancel anytime.

Do you mark up tokens?

No. You pay the provider's list price; our only fee is the 10% on top.

Where is my data processed?

Wherever your policy allows. The default is the strictest setting, EU-only; add US or Chinese jurisdictions per workload and Sluis enforces that exact line on every request. Routing weighs where a model runs and who owns it, so a provider's parent company is never a surprise.

Can I bring my own provider keys?

Yes. Connect your own or self-hosted models, encrypted at rest and never in env vars; BYOK is billed at a flat €0.50 per 1M tokens.

Is there an on-prem option?

Yes, Sluis Edge: the whole data plane as one static binary on your servers, so prompts never transit Sluis. Flat licence per gateway; email sales@sluis.ai.

Can I resell Sluis to my clients?

Yes. As an agency you run isolated client organisations under one account, each with its own keys, policy, audit and budget, rolling up to one consolidated bill.
