Desktop app

Sluis Chat, on your desktop.

One download: the chat app plus an optional on-device Station, for macOS, Windows and Linux.

Before you install

Alpha

The desktop app is an early alpha. Expect rough edges, and please send us anything that breaks.

The builds are not code-signed yet, so your system may warn about an unidentified developer. Open it from your downloads anyway, or right-click and choose Open.

01 / macOS

Running it on macOS

Because the build is unsigned, right-click (or Control-click) the app and choose Open, then confirm. If macOS still blocks it, open System Settings, go to Privacy & Security, and click Open Anyway. If it refuses to launch, clear the quarantine flag from Terminal:

xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine "/Applications/Sluis Chat.app"
02 / Windows

Running it on Windows

If Windows SmartScreen shows "Windows protected your PC", click More info, then Run anyway. The installer is unsigned for now.

Sign in with your email and password, or use "Sign in with your browser" for Google and passkeys. The app opens your browser and signs you back in automatically.

The Station is included but stays off. You choose its folders and capabilities, review the contract, and explicitly switch it on.
